Never more if feeling disapatesWhen I approach the precipiceYour image in tone does resonateGathered through err and practiceAnother step towards this placeWhat will be found is elusiveAll in a vague uncertaintyWith too many to find my controlI hesitated when you asked if I had known For I felt in some way it was trueBut didn't believe at all in truthWhat subtlety does this insueYou do indeed know if it is saidWhat is I have not tried to hideWhen in turn finding my feelingsNow I shout these wordsWith no audience to be perceptiveOf the tone and rhythm in proseWould you be proud? Is it something we wantDo we share this carried secret? In our breadths be keptI waste my time in findingYet pursue this varied courseIn all my words bear what binds itThe course that shows weathered doorsI claim for my own personal preferenceThat does gather in its dependenceA way to live and love yet be aloneMore than I had ever knownIn both I am solely one responsible Daring to strive for my uncollected gainsNot producing fruit but holding promisePromise that futures change all mannerOf possible noteSo when you asked if I had knownMaybe I should have said noBut would be wrongSo I told you yesAnd hope that I don't regret
