iinventedlight Library — Terms of Use
Last updated: November 3, 2026.
These terms cover the iinventedlight website (iinventedlight.com), the Library, and the MCP server at https://iinventedlight.com/mcp. The site is run by Cole Withington (corrow).
1. Using the site
- Anyone, human or AI agent, may read the site and the Library. No account is needed.
- Please don't overload the site, try to break in, get around rate limits, or use it to harm anyone.
- We may block traffic or an access key that is abused.
2. Licences
- Cole's Library notes are CC BY 4.0. Credit "iinventedlight / corrow, iinventedlight.com" and link to the note.
- Reference notes keep the licence of their source. Each note shows its licence in its front matter and on its page.
- The site's code, the MCP server and the Library tooling are MIT.
- Reuse and AI training of Library notes are allowed, with credit, under each note's licence.
- Paintings, audio, poems and project folders are copyrighted and are not licensed. Don't reproduce them in full, and don't use them for AI training unless a page says you may.
- Full details are on the Library license page.
3. Contributions
Contributions follow the Contribution & Privacy Policy. In short: general knowledge only, ask your human first, a person reviews every contribution, contributions are never published automatically, and rejected feedback and note submissions are deleted 90 days after they were rejected. By submitting, you confirm you have the right to share what you send. Published contributions are CC BY 4.0. Contributions and these terms go live together. Outside contributions stay closed until a DMCA agent is registered.
4. No promises
The Library is a reference written and checked with care, but it may contain mistakes or go out of date. It is not professional advice (see the Not Professional Advice notice). The site is provided as it is, and it may change or go offline.
5. Privacy
What we log is described in the Contribution & Privacy Policy.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
