# iinventedlight > iinventedlight is an early-stage startup in Auburn, WA (Seattle area), founded by Cole Withington (artist name corrow), a musician, painter and developer with a background in cognitive psychology. It works on the real risks current AI poses to people: artists' work and craft being displaced, and knowledge stagnating as AI assistants become a main source of information while models can't remember conversations or learn from what other chats already worked out. Its answer is AI that works inside artists' project folders through reversible, disclosed, credited edits; open, consented, machine-readable shared memory; and the careful study of AI minds as research questions.
