Poem 16
Never have I seen at allthis breadth and berth, so—another love is another hour, and I try to bear what is ours.
Whatever you wanted from me,just take it from me, if you—please just tell me already.I can't keep on, all this waiting.
The things I feel in resonanceare reasons spent to release—a joining of more of anythingis all that could be retrieved.
I tried to call your name at leastfor hundreds of nights alone.I see your face in my reflection;it appears to me in a dream.
I don't want to wait again, justfor you to come around, whenthe pain is all without, like howI don't know how. I've never been
in reaching out; I tend to end.It feels like it needs to be that—all I know in what I feel is truewhen you react. I need you now.
There's left no sense of peace.I stumbled throughout fields ofpersons' speak, voice and sound, shadows graze, walls and bounds.
I've been in the presence of thepresence of you, like I washow we were when last I saw—but not as much as any doubt.
So whisper to me slowly.I feel reminiscence coming.I need to feel like I was, reallythere with you in the moment.
I feel your heartbeat slowly.I feel our lips enclosing. In your touch I'm hoping, I'm all in.All your love is all I wanted.
